Dair Melendez-Drier, LMHC, CASAC is a native upstate New Yorker. A graduate of Empire State College, she has over 20 years of experience in mental/behavioral health and addiction treatment, including experience at the American Red Cross (Certified AIDS/HIV Counselor), Catholic Charities, the Lexington Center for Recovery, RECAP, and the Office of Children and Family Services. As the clinical director for The Counseling Center at Yorktown Heights, Dair provides one on one counseling, prepares and facilitates group counseling sessions, and helps treat clients with co-occurring disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma. She maintains the center's focus on quality of service, and attention to client needs. Dair is bilingual (English & Spanish) and well-traveled. She has been all over the world, including Thailand, China, and Europe.
